The new technology HPR moisture probe not only makes measurement with respect to dialectic coefficient like the capacitive or microwave probes but also takes into consideration the reflections on the material and water molecules to make a much extensive measurement.
It measures the water amount in the material and also detects the refraction trajectories on solid material. This way the fluctuations on the graph are not continuous as they are with other probes.
Moisture probes are supplied in three types as:
